Reserved exclusively for our Wine Club members, the Cheese Club presents a quarterly selection of four artisan cheeses, each one thoughtfully chosen to accompany the wines arriving in your shipment.
These are not the sorts of cheeses that casually appear on supermarket shelves—or even in many specialty shops—but rather distinctive, small-batch treasures uncovered through our annual tastings of hundreds of cheeses alongside our wines.
From this deliciously demanding task, we select just sixteen exceptional cheeses each year, ensuring that every wedge you receive is a worthy and harmonious companion to what’s in your glass.
Cheese Club - Frequently Asked Questions
The Cheese Club is offered as a continuous subscription with an initial commitment of twelve months, encompassing four quarterly shipments. After this period, you are free to cancel at any time, provided notice is given prior to the dispatch of your next shipment.
Membership in the Cheese Club carries no fee. Each quarterly shipment of four carefully selected cheeses is priced at $69.00, plus any applicable shipping—a sum that, rather pleasingly, is about the same as a single good bottle of wine.
As an alternative to shipping, you are welcome to pick up your cheese at our Healdsburg Tasting Room or during one of our popular Pickup Parties, held throughout club shipment months of February, May, October, and December — a lively and convivial way to receive your selections.
Cheese, by its nature, has a limited window of peak freshness. For this reason, we are unable to store uncollected cheese, so any cheese not picked up by the third week of the release month will be automatically shipped to your home address on file.
Each shipment includes four distinct cheese selections: one thoughtfully chosen to pair with the three white wines, and one selected to complement each individual red wine chosen for wine club release that quarter.
Every cheese portion is four ounces, delivering a total of one and a half pounds of cheese per shipment—four times a year.
Each four-ounce portion is carefully cut to size, wrapped in breathable cheese paper, labeled with the cheese’s name and its suggested wine pairing, then nestled inside a thermal container with reusable, food-safe cool packs before being sealed in an insulated shipping box.
All cheese shipments are dispatched via third party carrier, typically UPS or Fed Ex, ensuring they arrive at your home or office fresh, cool, and ready to enjoy.
Prior to each shipment you will receive an email directing you to the News/Releases page in our website where the wines, recipes, spices and cheese selections for each quarter are listed and paired with the appropriate wines.
Each quarter, the four cheeses we send are chosen with pairing in mind: one selected to complement the three white wines, and one to accompany each of the individual red wines. Every shipment features cheeses from different creameries, ensuring variety and discovery throughout the year.

If a delivery attempt is missed, our third party shipping providor will leave a notice and make a second delivery attempt the following day. As cheese is a perishable delicacy with only a brief window at peak freshness, timely receipt is essential.
Considerable care goes into every shipment. We taste, select, order, pay for, cut, wrap, package, and dispatch each cheese with the same attention we give to the parcels sent to thousands of our valued club members.
You will receive advance email notification so you know precisely when to expect your delivery.
Each package is prominently labeled with a bright notice indicating that the contents should be refrigerated immediately upon arrival.
Having taken every reasonable precaution to ensure your cheeses arrive fresh, promptly, and with clear communicationat every step , we regret that we are unable to offer redirected shipments or refunds on cheese shipments.
We kindly encourage you to ensure you receive your shipment and refrigerate without delay, so the cheeses may be enjoyed in the condition in which they were intended—at their very best.
